The RED Mangroves (Rhizophora mangle) we offer are great for tank Nitrate filtration or landscaping purposes. These plants are capable of surviving in salt, brackish, and fresh water environments. Notably, the propagules are not harvested from public shorelines, but rather grown privately. We provide a two-month survival guarantee on the Mangroves you will receive.

Each plant will have established roots with at least two leaves and a minimum height of 10 inches, with most plants being around 12 inches tall. We take pride in offering free shipping, and the Mangroves are dispatched within 24 hours of purchase.

For optimal care, please follow these instructions: 1. Remove the plants from the shipping material upon arrival. 2. Ensure the temperature of this tropical plant does not drop below 40 degrees.

Tank Planting: - Gently rinse the plants in room temperature fresh or tank water if placing them in an aquarium. - Do not pack the roots down. - Provide at least 12 hours a day of bright, daylight-spectrum light from a lamp or overhead light. - If the Mangrove is in saltwater, rinse and clean the leaves every day. Failure to do so may result in leaf drop, as the plant needs to dispose of the salt through its leaves.

Pot Planting: - Cover the roots with soil and add fertilizer. - Ensure the roots stay moist at all times. - Provide filtered light, as Mangroves do not thrive in full sun and prefer shaded conditions. - Mist the plants once a week if they are kept indoors.
